Job Description Summary A-B Tech is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable skilled appliance repair technician to teach adults in our Workforce Development classes, specifically for the appliance maintenance and repair module of the Apartment Maintenance Technician program. Additional classes may be added in the future
Duties All Trades instructors work with the Coordinator to design courses that will meet the needs of employers and the community. Then, during engaging lectures and hands-on labs, the instructor will provide the training necessary for the students to meet pre-defined learning objectives. During each course, instructors submit all materials for review and approval in addition to maintaining an accurate student roster, attendance sheet, and other required records.
- Documented knowledge of subject matter;
- Three or more years’ experience as an Appliance Repair Technician;
- Hold a current Universal CFC Certification
- Valid Drivers License.
- One or more years teaching experience;
- Previous experience teaching adults in a community college setting.
