The AAWNC Supplier Network is open to all supplier members. The Network actively engages supplier members in various aspects of the association, encouraging participation in events and educational activities.
Additionally, the Network is responsible for gathering feedback from supplier members to understand their needs and preferences within the association, aiming to support the growth of their businesses.
The Supplier Network is charged with planning two key association events: the annual Supplier Showcase and the association’s Maintenance Appreciation event.

John Modlin & Brittany Hardmon
John Modlin is an accomplished and recognized industry leader, with more than 37 years of experience in the property management field.
He started Legacy Apartment Staffing in 2023 with his wife Vicki shortly after relocating to South Carolina from California. as CEO, he developed the then-startup company’s strategic plan for redefining the industry. John is a growth-focused, coach-style leader who has built up an impressive record creating and implementing business development and marketing strategies that focus on customer service and drive sustainable revenue growth.
John is a longtime member and leader in the National Apartment Association, having served as a delegate from 2011-15 and 2017. Over the years, he lent his expertise to various committees including Budget & Finance, Legislative and Technology. From 2019 - 2023, John served as NSC Region X liaison and is currently the Vice Chair- Membership for the NAA National Supplier Council. He is a founding board member of the California Rental Housing Association and currently serves as chair of the Southern California Rental Housing Political Action Committee.
A past board president of the Southern California Rental Housing Association (formerly the San Diego County Apartment Association), John served on the board for 20 years. He has been tapped several times over the years to lead event committees. John was the association’s 2014 Industry Achievement Award Winner and earned the Nancy Robertson Service Award in 2021.
John enjoys creating memories with his children and grandchildren and recently celebrated 36 years of marriage.
Brittany Hardmon is the Manager of Client Onboarding for Loebsack & Brownlee, with nine years of experience on the owner/operator and supplier sides of the industry. Holding key roles, she developed a passion for mentoring, empowering clients, and developing teams.
Brittany has earned industry honors, including Entryway SC’s 2025 Volunteer of the Year, USAA 2020 Supplier and 2020 & 2021 Volunteer of the Year. An active member of multiple local and state apartment associations, Brittany serves as the 2026 USAA Board Secretary, Suppliers Council Chair, and on committees.
She is also NAAEI Faculty, a 2025 NAA Leadership Lyceum graduate, and a member of the 2026 NAA 20 on the Rise cohort.
