Personal Closet Edit

Bring gently used or new business attire to share in the clothing swap. All participants will have the opportunity to "shop the swap."

Any clothes left at the end of the event will be donated to Entryway.

Meet Your Instructor: Liz Newkirk

Elizabeth (Liz) Newkirk is the Vice President of Brand & Strategic Growth at Senex Law, PC, headquartered in Virginia. A brand architect by discipline and a strategist by instinct, Liz has spent over a decade transforming brands from the ground up. She is a nationally recognized leader in multifamily marketing, association governance, and brand development. 


Liz's work at the intersection of brand, community, and legal services has earned her recognition as one of the multifamily industry's most innovative marketing minds. She holds the Social Media of the Year award eight times, has been named a NAA Excellence Award Finalist, and was inducted into the 2024 class of Top 50 Women to Know in North Carolina by KNOW Women Media. She is a member of the NAA Leadership Lyceum Class of 2026 and serves as Incoming Chair of the NAA Marketing & Communications Working Group. 


A passionate association leader, Liz has held some of the most consequential volunteer roles in the apartment industry, serving as the first Woman of Color to chair the GCAA Suppliers Council and the NC State Suppliers Council, as Secretary of the GCAA Board of Directors, as State Supplier Representative on the AANC Board, and as Inaugural Chair of the SCAA Marketing & PR Committee. She co-founded the Eddie J. Robertson DEI Scholarship and the inaugural GCAA DEI Award, and created the SCAA Suppliers E.D.G.E. Program.

 
Liz attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, majoring in Business with a specialization in Marketing. She holds certifications in Organizational Culture and Diversity and Legal Environment from Arizona State University, and an Equal Employment Opportunity Certification from the EEOC. Outside of work, Liz is a passionate creative with a deep love of fashion history, cultural analysis, dance, and Beyoncé, and she takes her coffee with cinnamon roll creamer.
