Event Emcee
AAWNC is pleased to welcome AANC Executive Director Jon Lowder as this year's event emcee.
Jon came to AANC after serving as the President of the Triad Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition (TREBIC) and prior to that as Executive Director for the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association (PTAA) from 2009-2021. Those experiences enabled Jon to learn about the variety of issues faced by the multifamily housing industry, including regulatory, legal, and operational factors that challenge our members on a daily basis, and how AANC, in partnership with its affiliated associations, can help address those challenges with their regulatory and legislative affairs efforts in Raleigh and city hall's across the state.
Originally from Winston-Salem, and with deep roots in that region, Jon grew up in the Northern Virginia area after his family moved there when he was six. He and his wife Celeste, both proud graduates of George Mason University, moved with their three children to Winston-Salem in 2004. When not working or spending time with his family, Jon is an enthusiastically mediocre tennis player, enjoys reading, and loves traveling to interesting places.
