Getting to the Courthouse

The address is 60 Court Plaza, Asheville, Special Proceedings Courtroom.

If you go through security do not use the elevators that are in front of you. Turn down the hallway to the right and use the elevators for the original/old courthouse. The courtroom is on the 2nd floor and is next to the Small Claims courtroom. The security deputies are very friendly and can help direct you if needed.

Please park in the parking deck directly across the street from the courthouse.

After serving in various offices, Joe attended NC Central University Law School in 2000. After practicing criminal defense and family law, he was sworn in as magistrate on October 1, 2007. Joe has been the magistrate judge in Small Claims ever since.
