I have never had a manager that is as supportive as Emily. She is a source of motivation for each member of her team and encourages job growth and development by providing training to prepare us for our next roles within the company.  2020 brought many challenges but with Emily’s leadership, all of her properties thrived and exceeded their goals.  Her positive attitude motivated us to think outside the box and gave us the strength to continue moving forward during difficult times. Emily is a glowing example of our Pegasus culture to the employees she supports, colleagues, and ownership groups.  She is creative, innovative, proactive and a consistent top performer amongst stiff intercompany competition.

Kimberly Medearis, Ansley at Roberts Lake

Kimberly is the best manager I have ever worked for. She is hard working, caring, and always firm but fair in her decisions. She cares about the residents, the property, and the employees and it shows. Kimberly's dedication to our association shined through by example in attending almost all of AAWNC events in 2020 even during a pandemic. She has been very active in recruiting participation as well in her community by having several office and maintenance team members join in attendance at events.

Assistant Community Manager of the Year Presented by: Loebsack & Brownlee

Michelle Willis, Weirbridge Village

Michelle is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Michelle helped residents with payment plans and worked to find solutions that were beneficial to both the resident and our client. She consistently closed each month with limited delinquency, with her best month having lower than $100 in delinquent rent. During this time, she also assisted with leasing and managerial duties. She was also instrumental in increasing the property’s social media engagement, by creating, filming, and starring in multiple property videos. She is brilliant, driven, attentive, thoughtful, and organized. She is constantly motivating our team to strive for greatness but also makes sure that we achieve it.

Zachary Speaks, Groves at Town Center

Zach Speaks played a key role during the lease up at Groves at Town Center, without him the property would still be trying to achieve stabilization.  He alone brought online four buildings while assuring all future resident apartments were ready for move in.  Mr. Speak’s ability to troubleshoot and fix maintenance issues is something only seen in the most seasonal supervisors.  Zach met every challenge and has ultimately grown from this experience.
